First of all: HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
This is the second time I'm taking part in the
snowflake_challenge. I'm still not participating a lot anywhere, but I've been reading and enjoying other fanworks during the last year. And through the 2013-challenge I've discovered many new authors and artists I like.
Now for this year's challenge:
snowflake_challenge 2014 - Day 1
In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you have created. It can be your favorite fanworks that you've created, or fanworks you feel no one ever saw, or fanworks you say would define you as a creator.
I like to make icons, artwork and I write fic. English is not my mother language so I don't feel comfortable writing really long works but prefer ficlets, and I really love writing drabbles (where I tell a story in exactly 100 words and there aren't too many opportunities for mixing up my tenses).
So here are three recs of works I did in 2013:
1) icons
In my Five-Minute Warning-fanwork challenge I made three Firefly-Kaylee-icons:
2) artwork
I had so much fun doing my artwork/comic/whateveritiscalled for the Bandom Meme Fanwork Exchange, so I have to rec it here:
Lost In Space
3) drabble
A few days ago I posted three Bandom-drabbles and one of them already has 280 hits and one of them has 14. The latter is my favourite of the three, so here is some pimping:
Title: Drabble for unclaimed prompts at
no_tags
Author:
winterlover
Fandom/Characters: Mikeyway/Pete/Alicia, Pete/Patrick, Frank/Gerard
Word Count: 100
Rating: none
Warnings/Spoilers: none
Author's Notes: I don’t own any of those characters. They belong to themselves. Nothing I write about has actually happened. Except if it has. But I wouldn’t know.

I just noticed a space-theme running through my fanworks from last year. I wonder what this year's theme might be.

Well, the icons were hidden in a comment. I'm glad that you like them! :-)
