In your own space, create a love meme for yourself. Let people tell you how amazing and awesome and loveable you really are.

I haven't interacted with enough people to receive love for being me. If anyone loves what I do, my art, my fic, my drabbles, please comment in those posts or on AO3, that's where I feel love the most!

And now I'll spend the last minutes of my day looking and commenting at others' love memes before I have to go to sleep.

In your own space, rec at least 3 fanworks you thought you wouldn't like (because they weren't your fandom or they pushed against your boundaries or you thought you just wouldn't be interested) but you ended up loving.

1) Need You Like Air

Created for a prompt about breathplay-kink-discovery. Bandom.

I haven't been looking at artwork a lot. For me it's mostly about reading stories (says the one who's made artwork for the same gift-exchange), but because it was for a challenge I took part in myself, I wanted to take a look at everything that had been created.

The combination of powerful and sweaty performance-pictures with words that are almost like song-lyrics makes a gripping analogy to breathplay: physical, potentially dangerous and hot.

And - it made me discover A Softer World which I hadn't known before.

2) You want me to leave it there
fic by [archiveofourown.org profile] Philipa_Moss, "Queer As Folk (UK)"

It's not that I thought I would not like a story about Vince and Stuart's future, but I never thought I'd need one. Although recently, I must admit, I wondered about what Vince would make of the new Doctor Who.

But those glimpses in a future life with the same kind of humour and emotion that I remember from the original series - and yes, a mention of the new DW - are really enjoyable.
Same men, same problems - or not?

I can't really think of a third thing to rec. I'm probably not open enough to try and read outside my known comfort-zone. That's probably because there are so many great fanworks there, I can't even catch up with all my bookmarks as it is.
