Snowflake Challenge 2018 - Day 4

[community profile] snowflake_challenge

Day 4: In your own space, create a fannish wishlist. No limits on size or type of fanwork; just tell us what you’d like to see.

I don't have many wishes, but because other people have mentioned the lack of comments for fanwork, I guess maybe the small number of kudos or comments on my artwork, compared to the number of views, is not because it's so bad but maybe because artwork on AO3 is rare and more lilely to be consumed than appreciated.
I must admit being guilty myself. So I promise to be better in regards to kudos and comments for artwork and wish for others to be as well.

I think you're pretty good at comments and kudos. I know I see your name often.

And yeah, I think you have to train yourself not to worry about hits v kudos/comments. So many people read and go, it's not a true reflection on worth at all.

I know what you mean about the small number of kudos/comments on art related to how many hits they get. I find this is particularly pronounced with art I've made for someone else's story. I suspect many people click through from the story just to check it out but aren't really interested. The ratio is much better on my "original" pieces. Or at least, it was. I haven't checked in a good while now.
