Share your love for something fannish: a trope, cliché, kink, motif, theme, format, or fandom.

 

What I like most about band (or group-) stories is the gang-mentality, which includes the found-family trope. I even love "curtainfic" where they just are at home with their dogs.

Being a single child I never had the siblings-experience. It was a good thing to be able to send the kids home after I was exhausted by them, but I never got very close to other people because of that, too.

So reading fic about gangs, bands, close friends who are together most of their lives and have fun, fight, pine and love is what I like to do.

I have so much love for stories that focuses on this aspect of a band! Found families and close friendships are LOVE!

Curtain fic is such a lovely thing. All those mundane details, I eat them up.

Maybe I enjoy it so much because I'm awfully fond of my own couch... ;-)
And of course it depends on how it's written, but I always thought that the quality of bandom fic is exceptionally brilliant.

Me, either. The whole idea of siblings is weirdly fascinating for me.
