David Bowie was one of those musicians who was always just part of the soundtrack of my life. I remember when he did Under Pressure with Queen. I remember when Peter Shilling recorded Major Tom (Coming Home) which repopularized Space Odyssey. I remember when he did duets with Mick Jagger, Tina Turner, Bing fucking Crosby. I remember Labyrinth (themusecalliope used the movie as her Day 8 for Snowflake), I remember Cool World and Tin Machine and I'm Afraid of Americans.
