Oh, I have that tabbed recently (if you mean Gerard Way's Detective Agency). Want to read it soon.
Because I didn't really know the people, I wasn't too confused, more intrigued and keen on reading more.
I do prefer non-AUs, but some AUs are as good as original fic, so I'm not avoiding them.
